40th Anniversary
Catalogue No.60, due in the autumn, will be
a special edition to celebrate 40 years of Len Kelly’s book businesses in their
various incarnations: Volume One (in Toronto), Bampton Books, L.V.Kelly –
Books, Kelly Books, Kelly Books Ltd.
In addition to this catalogue, we will be publishing Len
Kelly’s bookselling memoirs – Books and
Me. This will tell the story of Len’s involvement with books over the
years, as a bookseller, and student, and a largely unpublished author. It will
be a paperback of approximately 140 pages, including illustrations. The price
will be £7.95 and we are accepting pre-publication orders now. The first 50
copies will be numbered and signed by the author.
In lieu of the usual author royalty, 10% of the cover price
for each copy of this book that is sold will be donated to Cancer Research.
